Common First Year & Basic Medical Sciences (CFY & BMS)

Leading first-year students with excellence

The common first year (CFY/BMS) was established in 2011 when the Inaya Medical Colleges welcomed their students, as it is considered the cornerstone of the educational process for enrolling in specializations within of the other eleven programs offered by the Inaya Medical Colleges.

Chairman message

Dear fellow students,

We want to welcome you and wish you a unique academic experience.

The common first year is the first challenge facing the new students in their academic endeavors.

Throughout the first common year, the students are equipped with the essential knowledge and skills they need to reach their professional goals. It focuses on teaching students the following set of skills:

  • Understanding the basic medical sciences
  • Developing English language skills
